This idea was all my co-worker, Tina’s. She sent an invite for our team to have a “Lego Lunch”, which was intriguing since nobody really knew what that meant.
It had something to do with Legos though, so I took my lunch to the appointed meeting spot and there she was with two tubs of bricks and minifigs.
We all ate and chatted and organized the little Lego people by theme and fandom and adorableness.
I even managed to form a halfway decent grouping of Village People:
We decided to give people more notice next time so that they could bring in their own play sets and we can build bigger and better creations. For this to work you can’t be too protective of your bricks, as there may be some swapping and sharing going on, but I think we managed to get almost everything divvied up back to where it started.
If your office isn’t big on Legos, how about a finger-painting lunch? Or knitting, or coloring, or any kind of craft really. What kind of fun do your co-workers like to have?
Everything is awesome,
